He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Govin and Cora Govin (Turner); his wife Phyllis C. Shull; his daughter Sandy Mock (Dave); and his siblings, Irene Bechtol, Dave Govin, Glen Govin, Kenneth Govin, Theodore Govin, Henry Govin, Albert Govin, Kathleen Gibbs and Kathrine Govin.
He is survived by: his son Tom Govin (Darlene) of Lynn, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Jessica Williams (Ryan), John Govin (Amanda), Jared Govin (Jerrica), Ronald Wheeler (Barbara), Larry Wheeler and Eric Wheeler (Elizabeth). He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hillside Country Living Activities Fund.
