He was predeceased by: his parents, John George and Blanche Beres (Burke); his parent-in-law Shirley B. Booker; his wife Shirley Beres; and his siblings, Clarinda Copeland, Roberta Miller, Sharon Smith, Frankie Beres and Terry Dunham.
He is survived by: his children, Jack Beres (Treasa) of Pioneer, Dottie Cook (Dennis) of Montpelier and Cathy Mavis (Terry) of Archbold; and his grandchildren, Rockie, Heather, Derek, Damon, Chrissy, Nicki and Tyson. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Those wishing to attend services are to abide by state mandates of mask wearing and social distancing.
