He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald VanSickle and Alice Catherine VanSickle (Speelman); his brothers, Clair, Donald and Richard VanSickle; and his former wife Carol VanSickle (Hunter).
He is survived by: his wife Pamela J. Hurey; his daughter Amy Swope (Matt) of Muskegon, Michigan; his granddaughter Annika Swope; and his siblings, Sally Rex (Craig) of Concord and Buddy VanSickle (Teri) of Liberty Center, Ohio.. He is also survived by family members include brothers- and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to Williams County Conservation League or Alzheimer's Research.
