He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Dye and Phyllis B. Dye (Waterston). He is survived by: his wife Connie L. Clinger (Waldron); his daughters, Jennifer A. Chester of Waterloo and Misty R. Engel of Defiance; his stepchildren, Jeremy Clinger (Jill) of Montpelier, Charity Avina (Mike) of Bryan and Nickohl Garza (Nate) of Hicksville; and his brothers, Ric Dye (Judy) of Montpelier, Alan Dye (Deb Steinke) of Montpelier and Mark Dye (Deb) of Montpelier. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
