Helen I. Goshorn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen I. Goshorn of Montpelier, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. O. McCrea and Odessa McCrea (Stotler); her husband Earnest E. Goshorn; her brother Homer McCrea; and her stepgrandson Dustin Smetzer.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Goshorn (Diane) of Dora, Mark Goshorn (Susan) of Farmer, Craig Goshorn of Florissant and Jeffrey Goshorn of Bryan, Ohio; her granddaughters, Laurel Goshorn, Alicia Busma, Stephanie Goshorn, Melissa Hawkins and Elizabeth Caperton; her great grandchild Amelia Hawkins; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Onnalee Smetzer and Christian Smetzer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Bethlehem Christian Union Church or Samaritan's Purse.
