He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenard J. and Virginia Cogswell, Sr. (Stoy); his siblings, Lenord Cogswell, Jr. and Doris Mocherman; and his pet Monkey.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Mary Brown (Charles) of Montpelier, Richard Cogswell (Janet) of Burlingame, Suzanne Cogswell (Becky Lindsey) of Richmond and Robert Cogswell (Bruce Richardson) of Frisco, Texas; his stepchildren, Bruce Hieber of Glenwood City, Brad and Anita Collins (Mark) of New Haven, Indiana; and his sister Nora Heaton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Fair Foundation to go towards a bench, St. John's Lutheran Church or the Kidney Foundation of NW Ohio.
