He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Burger and Ruth Burger (Steward); his spouse Cinderilla Marks; his siblings, Ellen Davis, Bonnie Miller, Shirley Kill, Elaine Arntz, Kenneth Burger and Larry Burger; and his grandchildren, Nakea Burger, Tony Martin, Jr. and Caitlyn Martin.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Burger, Jr. (Lisa) of Bryan, Daniel Burger (Carrie) of Bryan, Karmelle Dafforn (Jeff) of Zanesville, Angela Johnson (Carl) of Bryan and Tony Martin of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and his siblings, Nancy Prather, Vicky Griffey, Linnea Scharaswak, Mark Gardner and Doug Burger. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
