He was predeceased by: his parents, Estle Smethurst and Helen Smethurst (Lautermilch); and his brother-in-law Norman Willibey. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Willibey of Montpelier, Richard (Sue) of Bryan, Marlow (Phyllis) of Bloomington, IN and Earl (Paula) of Addison, MI. He is also survived by seven nieces/nephews and their children.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Montpelier Senior Center.
