Donna Athy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Athy of Montpelier, Ohio, born in Adrian, Michigan, who passed away on May 30, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil M. Godfrey and Rose Mary Godfrey (Ireland); and her daughter Denise Kay Smith. She is survived by: her husband Donald A. Athy; her sons, Dennis Smith (Amy) of Lexington, KY and Michael Smith (Jenny) of Kokomo, IN; her stepchildren, Kathy Miller of Georgia, Nancy Cox of Florida and Greg Athy (Brenda) of Montpelier; her siblings, Susan Johnson of Fort Wayne, Rose Metcalf (Dan) of Fletcher, NC and John Godfrey (Diane) of Delaware, OH; her uncle Richard Apt of Montpelier; and her cousin Angela Moor (Duane) of Montpelier. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
