He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis R. Geoltzenleuchter and Virginia C. Geoltzenleuchter (Haase); his stepdaughter Dawn Rupp; his brother Larry Goeltzenleuchter; and his wife LaDonna Goeltzenleuchter (Slusser).
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Stover (Roger) of Morenci and Mike Goeltzenleuchter (Sherrie) of Fayette; his stepchildren, Belinda Taylor (Ed) of Jackson and David Batt (Jan) of Bryan; and his siblings, Louis Goeltzenleuchter (Nancy) of Palm Harbor, Jerry Goeltzenleuchter (Linda) of Bryan, Mariel Perkins of Bryan and Sue Miller of Jonesville, Michigan.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
