She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lane and Sarah Lane (Moore); her husband William H. C. Benard; her daughter Norma Jean Benard; her siblings, Cecil, Richard, Curtis Lane, Irma Richie and Virginia Neff; and her stepdaughter Phyllis Harrell.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Vance (Boyd) of Oakwood, OH, Sarah Anderson (Robert) of Montpelier, OH, William C. Benard (Mary) of Defiance, David M. Benard (Patricia) of Defiance and Charles R. Benard (Trish) of Grover Hill, OH. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the church, or American Cancer Society.
