She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gates and Marie Gates (Martin); her sisters, Rose Daniel and Marilyn Hanline; and her brothers-in-law, Gus Showalter and Chuck Hanline.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Carroll of Monroeville, Melinda Carroll of Fort Myers, FL, Christopher Carroll (Katie) of Monroeville and Lisa Carroll (Bob) of Sandusky; her grandchildren, Kayla, Karlene, Austin, Adyson, Aiden, Kacey, Emma, Blake, Carter and Colleen; and her siblings, Joann Showalter, Sharon Ruffing (Gerald), John Gates (Mary Kaye) and Bev Thurston (John "Ted"). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
