He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes M. Gross (Schaffer) and Joseph C. Gross; his wife Patricia Marie Gross (Widman); his daughter Susan Marie Gross; his grandsons, James Charles Wilson III, Bradley Andrew Wilson and Dominic Wilson; and his siblings, Raymond Gross, Mary McLaughlin, Charles Gross, Norbert Gross and Bernard Gross.
He is survived by: his son Gary Gross (Linda) of Lorain, OH; his grandchildren, Matthew and Rachel Gross; his son Daniel Gross (Julie) of Kettering, OH; his grandchildren, William, David, Andrew and Marie Gross; his daughter Nancy Wilson (Jim) of Westerville, OH; his grandchild Chase Wilson; his daughter Tricia Racher (Jim) of Upper Arlington, OH; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Molly, Meredith and Jimmy Racher; his son Thomas Gross (Rubiela) of Norwalk, OH; his grandchildren, Michael Cawley, Mitchell (Jocelyn), Jesse, Derek, Ryan, Isabel and Rafael Gross; his daughter Virginia Zimovan (Jeffry) of Dublin, OH; his grandchildren, Nathan, Brendan and Caroline Zimovan; his sisters, Phyllis Rhoad (Lyle) of Norwalk, OH and Geraldine Schneider of Valrico, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Colahan (Brian) of Milan, OH and Virgil Falter of Tiffin, OH.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Masks and social distancing and COVID-19 guidelines will be observed in the church.
