He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlon Stang and Ruth Stang; his sons, Roger, Russell and Thomas; and his siblings, Kenneth, Charles, William, Frederick, Elizabeth, Marianne and Susan.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Stang (Long); his sons, Richard (Tracy) of Norwalk and Leroy (Jodi) of Monroeville; his daughter-in-law Robin Stang of Monroeville; his brother Ronald Stang (Shorty); and his grandchildren, Heather, Adam, Holly, Andrew, Stephanie, Chad, Kyle, Carrie, Patrick, Brooke and Bethany. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
