It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maralyn J. Long of Monroeville, Ohio, born in Neapolis, Ohio, who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul W. Long, Sr.; her parents, Herman Mettert and Ethel Mettert (Mumy); her sons, Allen Joseph Long and Paul W. Long, Jr.; her grandchildren, Joshua, Victoria and Baby B; and her sisters, Evelyn Box, Pauline Hartman and Pat Swanson.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Long (Sharon) of Norwalk, Douglas Long (Sue) of Monroeville, Gregory Long (Dianna Case) of Norton, Ted Long (Tracey) of Monroeville and Elaine Shaver (Dustin) of Monroeville; her brother H. Paul Mettert of Sandusky; her niece Kathy Ann Weilnau (Debrah Rollyson) of Milan; and her sisters-in-law, Laetta Long, Ruth Wilhelm and Grace Stang (Norb). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
