Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Loretta Whitacre of Monroeville, Ohio, born in Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 92, on October 24, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary E. Fisher (Coyne) and Lawrence A. Fisher; her husband Dale W. Whitacre; her son-in-law Gary Straub; and her siblings, Mary Heyman, Elizabeth Miller, Irene Theisen, John Fisher, Charlotte Skinn and Peggy Coe.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Whitacre (Royalton), Jane Straub of Ft. Wayne, IN, Mary Kay Lesch (Bob Kennedy) of Norwalk and Bob Whitacre (Pat) of Monroeville; and her grandchildren, Eileen Whitacre, Theresa Antal, Diana Lightfoot, Rick Straub, Chris Baker, Patrick Straub, Katie Straub, Jeannine Lesch, Matt Lesch, Joe Lesch, Tony Whitacre and Alysha Whitacre. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
There will be a limited amount of people admitted inside at a time, but visitors are welcome to visit with family and friends outside of the home where social distancing and current guidelines are more practical.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
