With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katie Rouse of Monroeville, Ohio, who passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah J. Schrock and Emma Schrock (Miller); her husband Donald F. Rouse; her stepchildren, Ronnie Rouse and Ruth Gates; her stepgranddaughter Tammy Potts; and her siblings, Mary Ann, Lena, Pete, Jonas and Levi.
She is survived by: her children, Rosie Amerine (Dick) of Norwalk and Robbie Rouse (Debbie) of Monroeville; her grandsons, Adam Rouse (Tiffany) of North Fairfield, Levi Amerine (Nia) of Rapid City and Evan Amerine (Meghan) of Vermilion; her great grandchildren, Theroux, Lachlan and Wyatt Amerine; her sisters, Emma Shetler of Mesopotamia and Viola Spence of North Carolina; her stepchildren, Raymond Rouse (Nancy) of Beach City, Russell Rouse of Dundee and Ruby Rieger of Norwalk, Ohio; and her stepgrandchildren, Debbie, Lori, Ray, Renae, Robyn, Rusty, Mike, Michelle, Sally, Joanne and Rich. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
