She was predeceased by: her husband Walter "Bud" Ries; her son Raymond "Skip" Ries; her parents, Philip Leber and Edna Leber (Weilnau); her siblings, Mary Milkie, Irma Homan, Lester, Paul and Richard Leber; and her great grandchild Jason Sparks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Sparks (Ronald "Butch") of Monroeville and Jean Ries of Bellevue. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Congregational Community United Church of Christ, 29 Chapel Street, Monroeville, Ohio 44847.
