He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Fries and Ida Fries (Phillips); and his brother-in-law William Charville. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his daughters, Megan Meisler (Mathew), Sarah Fries, Bethany Reiber (David), Abigail Wise (Timothy) and Emily Sommer (Kyle); his grandchildren, Luke Meisler, Sydney Meisler, Madison, Brandon Reiber, Braylee, Jaxyn, Beckett Wise, Layne Neuberger, Charli and Franki Sommer; his siblings, Bernard Fries (Karen), Thomas Fries (Linda), Kenneth Fries (Carol), Michael Fries and Mary Niedzwiecki; and his siblings-in-law, Jon Charville (Candace), Thomas Charville (Dolores) and Susan Dickman (Joseph). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
