He is survived by: his children, Evan and Cara Doney; the mother of his children Christine Hemenway of Norwalk; his siblings, Jenny Johnson (Brian) of Norwalk, Adam Doney (Karman Ross) of Norwalk, Carla Schaffer of Clyde and Matt Schaffer (Taylor) of Monroeville; his stepsiblings, Ann Durnwald and Joe Schaffer; his nieces and nephews, Dylan, Kai, Lola, Finley, David and Kortney; and also, Evan, Cara, Matt and Carla. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
