He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Gravenhorst (Herner); his sons, David John Gravenhorst and Donald James Gravenhorst; his grandchildren, Michael Justin O'Bryan Gravenhorst and Laura Donnell Gravenhorst; his parents, Bernard Gravenhorst and Ruby Gravenhorst (Smith); his brothers, Joe Gravenhorst and Tom Gravenhorst; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Gravenhorst, Marilyn Gravenhorst and Howard Herner.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Gravenhorst (Nicole) of Bellevue and Debbie Gravenhorst (Lew Sims) of Monroeville; his grandchildren, Kaycee Knapp (Brandon), Kade Gravenhorst and Kamry Gravenhorst; his great grandchild Jayce Gravenhorst; his siblings, Rita Leber and James Gravenhorst; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Gravenhorst, Ronald Herner (Kay) and Raymond Herner. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
