He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Scherley and Emaline "Faye" Scherley (Balduff); his sister-in-law Pat Scherley (Reed); and his father-in-law Rich Wobser. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Scherley (Wobser); his children, Jason Scherley (Ashley) of Coshocton, Chris Scherley (Saralyn) of Bellevue, Dannielle Dombrowski (Phil) of Vermilion and Michelle Smith (Steve) of Sylvania; his grandchildren, Madison, Haley, Andrew, Katie, Libby, Victor, Sam, Evie of James, C. J. and Rory; his siblings, Victor Scherley of Republic and Sue Long (Doug) of Monroeville; his mother-in-law Jane Wobser of Bellevue; his daughter-in-law Christina Scherley of Huron; and his pet Gizmo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
