Showalter (Gates); his daughters, Caroline Cole (Mike) of Milan and Shelley Fitzgerald (Shawn) of Monroeville; his grandsons, Joshua Mark (Marisa) of Monroeville and Jordan Cole (Bailee) of Milan; and also, John Gates (MaryKaye) of Norwalk, Ruth Carroll of Monroeville, Sharon Ruffing (Gerald) of Bellevue and Ted Thurston (Bev) of Monroeville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
