Bette was born during the Spanish Flu pandemic near the end of the 'War to end all Wars' and experienced WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War and many conflicts; the good times of the 1920's followed by the Great Depression and the many economic ups and downs of the last 102 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church.
