It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J Powell (Monroe, Ohio), born in Decatur, Tennessee, who passed away on May 18, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Powell and Nora M. Powell (Hale); his wife Nettie Powell; his son William Roger Powell; his siblings, Harold Powell, Mildred Sharten, Lorene Litwinick, Helen Stallard, Fran Oldenburgh and Mary Harrison; and his grandsons, Ryan Powell and Kenneth Wayne Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Powell (Ruth), Kevin Powell (Shari), Donna Powell (Dale Havran) and Brian Powell (Michele); his siblings, Roy Powell, Ann Pollarine, Jean Bandy and Marty Miller; his grandsons, Bill (Becke Powell), Joshua Powell (Nathan Powell), Sean (Andrea Hanna) and Nick (Brandon Powell); his great grandchildren, Max Powell, Sarah Wu, Adam, Tyler Bissett, Blake, Kaleb, Addison Powell, Madison and Cason Powell; and his great great grandchildren, Landyn, Lucas Wu and Sawyer Anne Powell.
