He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Anne and Earl G. Welch; and his brother Ronald E. Welch. He is survived by: his wife Sara Jane "Sally" Welch; and his children, Richard Welch (Abby) of Columbus, Sharon Rechel (Timothy) of Cincinnati and Leah Roth (Kevin) of Findlay. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and two nephews.
