She is survived by: her husband Timothy Powers; her son Doug Powers (Jennifer); her grandsons, William "Bo" Timothy Powers, Jonathan Reynolds Powers and Christopher Lawrence Powers; and her brothers, Bruce Lorton and Richard Lorton (Marlene). She is also survived by numerous family members, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the First Christian Church in her memory.
