With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth I. Passmore of Monroe, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elizabeth left this world on January 15, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Szalai and Elizabeth Szalai (Nyakas); her husband Theodore Passmore; her brothers, Mike A. Szalai, John Szalai, Steve Szalai, Martin Szalai and Dan Szalai; her stepsisters, Peg Smith, Sue Tiche and Sophie Tiche; and her grandson Brian Passmore, II.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Knauff (Tom), Kathie Mittelstadt (Ernie), David Passmore, Brian Passmore and Ted Passmore; her grandchildren, Justin Knauff (Randi), Teddy Knauff (Danelle), Matthew, David, Brittnay Bradnan, Mikahla Passmore, Austin, Wyatt Passmore, Pheobe and Jordan Passmore; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Alayna, Dane, Kennedi, Sydney, Madyson, Ryleigh, Elizabeth, Jayce and Zoey; her sister Cheryl Sharp; and her sister-in-law Mary Szalai. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home (345 Main St, Conneaut, OH 44030). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be given to the family and will be donated to organizations that were dear to her heart.
