He is survived by: his wife Tammy Nichols; his daughters, Brittney McGough and Whitney Dennis; his stepchildren, Sara Reed, Aaron Barnes and Jacob Barnes; his granddaughters, Avi McGough, Mia McGough, Blakelynn Garrett, Presley Garrett, Kataen Dennis and Kamdyn Dennis; his mother Helen Goodwin Nichols; and his siblings, Bill Nichols, Johnny Nichols, Patty Kugler, Michael Nichols, Ronnie Nichols, Charles Nichols and Danny Nichols.
In his memory, donations can be made to the Simon Cancer Center of Indianapolis.
