He was predeceased by: his parents, David and Helen Lewis, Sr. (Herpy); his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Gretchen and Cynthia Lewis; and his sons-in-law, George Sleigh and Randy Towne.

He is survived by: his children, Christieda Sleigh of Monroe Twp, Heather Kohler (Mark) of Erie, William (Pam) of Sheffield, Mike (Maggie) of Monroe Twp, David (Judy) of Monroe Twp, Mark (Kathy) of Conneaut and Brian (Denise) of Madison; and his siblings, Lisa Baum of Fairport Harbor, Lee Koszey (Lucille) of Bethlehem, PA and Mike Koszey (Terry) of Willoughby. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and more distant relatives.
