He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Duff (Collins) and John R. Duff; his wife Jessie Blair Fraser; his grandson Ben Garn; and his siblings, Betty, Gladys, Meryl, Bess, Don and Russell.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Webb-LeBarr (Bud), John R. Duff, III and Diane Garn (Ken); his grandchildren, Jeremy (Wendy), Justin (Sophie), Jared, Randy, Andrew (Stacey) and Elizabeth; his granddaughter-in-law Tara; and also Chris Hammer. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren.
