He was predeceased by: his father Curt Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Midge Nelson of Monclova, Ohio; his sisters, Susan Kane (Robert) and Barbara Gravedoni (David) of Monclova, Ohio; his nieces, Bridget Arnold of Gurnee, Kelly Carvacho (Rick) of Perrysburg, Rachael Gravedoni and Schenita Stewart; and his great-nieces, Madeleine and Alexis Carvacho. He is also survived by several cousins and uncles.
