He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Evans and Leona Evans; and his siblings, Tim, Mike, Robert "Dave" Evans and Linda Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Donna Allen of Akron, Ronald Evans, II (Jennifer) of Suffield and James Evans (Amy) of Canton; his grandchildren, Kayla, Kylie, Tommy, Cori, Christian, Julia and Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Arabella, Sean and Joey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road #300, Jacksonville, FL 32256 or the Mogadore Athletic Boosters, 130 S Cleveland Ave., Mogadore OH 44260.
