He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Gabriel and Rose Gabriel; and his siblings, Ann Cook (Bob), Genevieve Prusinowski (Ben) and William Gabriel (Sophie).
He is survived by: his brother Gerald Gabriel (Barbara); and his nieces, Cindy, Carla, Beth, Paula, Sue and Alison. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
