He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daniel Young and Arletta Young (Keim); his wife Kathryn Young (Obney); his daughter Kathy Lynn Covey; his siblings, Audrey Light (Young), Dorothy Canright (Young), David and Jack Young; his daughters, Sandy Clark (John) and Linda Leslie (Jim); his grandchildren, Dan Leslie (Heidi), Tracy Jones (Jimmy), Richard Jones (Katy), Bryan Jones, Bret Paul Mathies, Brent Mathies (Jenn), Matthew Covey, James Covey (Carolyn) and Preston Clark; and his grandfather Bill. He was also cherished by 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
