He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Seger and Mary Ann Seger (Dircksen); his brother Vernon; and his brother-in-law Bruce Bilter. He is survived by: his wife Lois Schlarman; his children, Craig (Chelsea Seger), Jennifer (Paul Hayden), Angela (Tyler Muhlenkamp) and Stacey (Tony Wilson); his grandchildren, Hayden, Hadley, Valerie Seger, Gabriel Hayden, Owen, Liam, Reid, Aria Muhlenkamp, Everly and Mavis Wilson; and his siblings, Teresa, Jim Hamaker, Sidney, Doris Bilter of Oswego, IL, Connie, Bill Grillot, Bonnie, Steve Brunson, McCartyville, Phyllis Collins, Laurie Seger, Tina and Ted Riethman.
Viewing was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the N. J. Hogenkamp Sons, Inc. (61 S Hanover St, Minster, OH 45865-1233). Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home (61 S Hanover St, Minster, OH 45865-1233). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (48 N Hanover St, Minster, OH 45865). A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at the St. Augustine Cemetery.
