Norma Jean Tompkins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Jean Tompkins of Minster, Ohio, born in Fort Loramie, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Larger and Amelia Larger (Broering); her spouse Thomas Tompkins; and her siblings, James Larger and Georgianna (Ivo Hoying).
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine; her son-in-law Kent Frazier; her granddaughter Hannah (Kevin Garen); her great grandchild Elaine; her brother Richard (Marilyn Larger); and her sister-in-law Shirley Larger (Sidney). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home (61 S Hanover St, Minster, OH 45865). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (48 N Hanover St, Minster, OH 45865). A burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at the St. Augustine Cemetery.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Wilson Hospice.
