He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Boeke and Frances Boeke (Holthaus); his former wife Marilyn Schulte; and his brothers, Albin Boeke, Virgil (Edna Boeke), Jim Boeke and Ben (Angie Albers).
He is survived by: his wife Grace Clark Swallow; his children, Ronald (Jane Boeke), Sidney, Roger (Brenda Boeke) and Deb (Dave Bornhorst); his stepchildren, Kenneth, Stephanie Swallow, Cynthia and Conrad Hoelscher; and his siblings, Urban, Ginny Boeke and Janet Boeke. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
