She was predeceased by: her parents, George T. Platfoot and Bertha C. Platfoot (Behr); her sons, Ron Scheer and Brad Scheer; her children-in-law, Ken Harris and Donna Scheer; her siblings, Herbert, Robert, Raymond, Norman, Orville "Orie" Platfoot, Agnes Cloppert, Irene Heeter, Sally Ware, Esther Scheer, Jeanie Billing, Mary Platfoot and Isabelle Platfoot; and her parents-in-law, Lela Mae Billger, Ralph Scheer, Roger "Bud" Scheer, Sylvester "Bill" Scheer, Robert Scheer, Delbert "Butch" Scheer and Lafe Jr. "Jack" Scheer.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Scheer (Karen) of Celina, Bruce Scheer of New Bremen and Teresa Harris of Longmont, CO; her daughters-in-law, Dot Scheer of New Bremen and Robin Scheer of St. Marys; her grandchildren, Becky Pape (Steve), Tod Scheer (Dawn), Gregg Scheer (Brittany), Tammy Scheer, Kelly Scheer (Chris Enright), Amy Collins (Rich) and Lindsay Gast (Mike); and her brother Norbert Platfoot (Alice) of Sidney. She is also survived by her thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Lucille can be made to support Wilson Home Health and Hospice (1081 Fairington Drive, Sidney, OH 45365), or another local hospice organization.
