With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan R. Baumer of Minster, Ohio, born in Saint Marys, Ohio, who passed away on August 17, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Rump and Alvina Rump (Mertzman); her husband Roman Baumer; her sons, Ronald Baumer and Jeffrey; her brother Dave (Dora Rump); and her in-laws, Edward Gelhaus, Elmer, Virginia Baumer, Victor, Mary Ann Baumer and Joseph.
She is survived by: her children, Deb, Scott Smith of Pinedale, WY, Tom and Robin Baumer of Spring City, TN; her daughter-in-law Cathy Baumer; her grandchildren, Rebekah Baumer, Jason, Nikki Baumer, Stephanie, Tim Stueve, Candance, Kevin Meyers, Sam, Destiney Cornia, Matt Smith, Allie and Logan Dawson; and her in-laws, Viola Clausen, Dayton, Marvin and Connie Baumer. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Manor Activity Fund.
