It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lachey of Minster, Ohio, born in Fort Loramie, Ohio, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcellus Lachey and Katherine Lachey (Borchers); his wife Barbara Ann Knostman; his siblings, Marc, Elizabeth Lachey, Lavern Lachey, John, Margie Lachey, Katherine Lachey and Alvin Lachey; and his brother-in-law Walden "Deacon" Richards.
He is survived by: his children, Don Lachey, Lynn Johnston, Bruce Lachey, Josephine "Jodi" and Steve Myers of Winter Garden, FL; his grandchildren, Stephen Myers, Shannon McDaniel-Myers, Kassandra "Kaci" Myers, Erich and Amber Myers; his great grandchildren, Bodhi Lathrop, Everett Myers, Ken, JoAnn Lachey and Naomi Richards; his sister-in-law Thelma Lachey (Anna); his close friend Norma Barhorst; and also, Jack, Jackie Green, Robert Barhorst Roanld Barhorst, Jeff, Krista Barhorst, Belinda, Dana Steinbrunner, Brenda Barhorst and Scott Albers.
