He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Niekamp and Florentina Niekamp (Link); and his sister Shelva Etgen. He is survived by: his wife Linda Niekamp (Hartke); his children, Noah (Crystal Niekamp), Nick (Heather Niekamp), Zack Niekamp of Columbus and Abigail (Matthew Miller); his grandchildren, Zoey, Hadley, Silas and Gunnar; and his siblings, Darrell, Connie Niekamp of St. Sebastian, Joyce and Ron Deger of Dayton. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
