He was predeceased by: his parents, Sisto Cosmo DiMeo and Ginevra Avoli of Trivigliano, Italy.; his wife Gloria Marie DiMeo; and his siblings, Chris DiMeo (Dolores), Pat DiMeo (Lee), Sue DiMeo Zack (Neal), Nancy DiMeo Montalvo (Greg) and Lisa DiMeo.
He is survived by: his son Sam J. DiMeo (Renee) of Akron; his grandchildren, Sam N. DiMeo of Akron and Elisa M. DiMeo of Columbus, Ohio.; and his daughters, Teresa DiMeo of Columbus, Ohio. and Annmarie "Peachie" DiMeo (Mollie Risen) of Columbus, Ohio..
