It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret M. Chapman of Mingo, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wonders and Mary Margaret Hinckleman Wonders; her husband James Chapman; and her siblings, Sonny Wonders, William Wonders and Bonnie Stovall.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Chapman Sr. (Sharon) of New Albany, OH and Jim Chapman (Cheryl) of Steubenville, OH; her siblings, Mary Edminson of Colonial Beach, VA, Harriet Wilson of King William, VA, Patricia Evertt of Indio, CA, Roy Wonders of Colonial Beach, VA, John Wonders (Theresa) of Oak Grove, VA and Richard Wonders (Betty Ann) of Dahlgren, VA; her grandsons, Jonathan Chapman (Lisa), Christopher Chapman (Bridget), Robert Chapman Jr. (Meaghan) and Matthew Chapman; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Genevieve, Eliza, Liam, Colin and Andrew.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2608 Hollywood Blvd, Steubenville, OH 43952). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
