He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Schmitt and Glenna Staib Schmitt; his siblings, John Hannen (Martha), Karl Schmitt of Mingo Jct, Paula Schmitt (Ernie), Carol Ann Bourdon (Dan) and Melissa Rowden (Gerald); his nephews, Jonathan Hannen (Michelle) and Joseph Bourdon; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Violet, Everett, Maddie and Jameson.
