He was predeceased by: his father Earl Junior; and his sisters, Beverly Meiler and Bonnie Elliott. He is survived by: his siblings, Gale Dossett of Mingo Jct, William Haines (Lynn) of Wintersville, OH, David Haines (Carol) of Mingo Jct and Debbie Kolling (Chuck) of Mingo Jct; and his pet Rusty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
