With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George D. Scott Sr. of Mingo, Ohio, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George D. Scott Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Scott and Nellie Scott; his wife Judy Scott; and his siblings, Estelle Sexton, Lowery Scott, James Scott, Joe Scott and Irene Deckman.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nellie Carson, Anna Scott, Mike Scott, Hawk Iron Eyes Silvercloud and Rose Garbrandt; his children, Eddie Scott, George Scott Jr., Allisha Scott, Misty Scott, Kim Scott (Michael), Tabatha, Kaylyn Manley and Kara Bell; his grandchildren, Kielyana, Xavier, Jesse, McKenzie, Damarion, Fantasia, Zarina and Grayson; and his close friends, Todd Scott, Bubsy Walker and Kevin Gray. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home (215 Fernwood Rd, Wintersville, OH 43953). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
