He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Starkey and Frances Starkey (Smith); his brother James "Jim"; his parents-in-law, Donna Starkey and Don E Rouse; his brother-in-law Don E Rouse Jr.; and also Loki'Willie Nelson" Starkey.

He is survived by: his wife Tina Starkey (Rouse); his sons, Seth and Darian Starkey; his grandson Tre Cooper; and his siblings-in-law, Lorne'Hut" Rouse, Tim Blocker, Janie Rouse Blocker and Amber Starkey Chafin (Josh).
