He is survived by: his wife Mary Bensie (Hrancho); his children, Tom Bensie, Jr. (Carla) of Mingo Junction, Hazel Steele (James) of Abilene, TX, Susan Davis (Rich) of Steubenville, OH and Cheryl Bensie of Brilliant, OH; his sisters, Grace Perri of Brilliant, OH and Shirley Brown of Rush Run, OH; and his grandchildren, Laura, Tommy, Jeff Bensie, Cecilia Rusnak, Harmony, Ian Darrah, Alicia Steele, Sara, Melissa Kushner, Brielle and Taylor Hill.
