He was predeceased by: his parents, C. J. Hughes and Dessie E. Hughes Foldi (Pantell); his stepfather George C. Foldi, Sr.; his son-in-law Greg Stillwell; and his siblings, George C. Foldi, Jr., Lusion Hughes, Ray Hughes, Alva Mae Kidder, Jackie Laughlin and Sherry Lynn Wongsong.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Hughes (Jenkins); his children, Melissa Hughes-Stillwell of Mingo Junction, OH and Stephen R. Hughes (Shannon Minch-Hughes) of Mingo Junction, OH; and his sister Barbara Schilling (Kenney) of Mingo Junction, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
